Meinl CB2 Retractable Nylon Cajon Brushes
When to choose it
Choose the CB2 when you want to use a brush on cajon and carry it with the bristles closed. Meinl specifies heavy nylon and a retractable design. You can use the documented nylon contact to compare against the sound you get with your hands on the same cajon surface.
The brushes are listed at 13¼ inches. Check how they fit in your implement bag and follow the cajon maker’s guidance about its playing face. If you are shopping for wire sweeps on a coated snare instead, compare a snare brush specified for that contact.
