Vater Wood Handle Fixed Wire Brushes

When to choose it
Try this brush when you want a wood grip closer to a drumstick and prefer the wire fan to stay extended. Vater describes the VWTW as a fixed steel-wire brush with a hickory handle. That construction is the key difference from the retractable rubber-handled Heritage.
Vater specifies a metal rivet at the handle end for cymbal scrapes. If you use that technique, follow the cymbal maker’s surface guidance. For transport, allow space for the full 13.5-inch brush and a wire fan that does not retract.
