DW Standard Two-Way Bass Drum Beater
When to choose it
If your DW pedal fits and you want to hear how a softer face changes your kick, the DWSM101 gives you two surfaces on one assembly. Start with the felt face for the more rounded attack DW describes. Turn the head to its plastic side for a more defined attack. Compare them at the same beater height and on the same head to keep other changes out of the comparison.
The shaft weight is included. For a non-DW pedal, check the receiver and shaft specifications before you buy. If you use a mesh kick pad, consult the pad maker before choosing a contact surface. The two faces give you a choice after the beater and surface compatibility checks.
