Vic Firth · Nylon-tip drumsticks
Vic Firth American Classic 7AN Nylon Tip

When to choose it
Try the 7AN if your current 5AN grip feels larger than you want or you prefer a shorter stick. Both use nylon tips, but the 7AN reduces the published diameter from 0.565 to 0.540 inches and the length from 16 to 15½ inches. If your ride is already at the limit of your reach, consider the shorter length before switching.
The model code identifies the tip material. Choose 7AN if you want nylon contact in this narrower size. If the grip works and you specifically want to change the handle finish, look for 7ANVG. The standard 7AN uses lacquer.
