Evans SoundOff 20-Inch Ride Cymbal Mute
When to choose it
Use the 20-inch SoundOff ride mute when the ride is the uncovered cymbal in your practice setup. This is an individual overlay for a 20-inch ride, so you can add it alongside your existing drum or cymbal mutes without buying a second set.
Check both the cymbal’s diameter and its role. Evans lists different versions for a 22-inch ride and a 14-inch hi-hat. If your usual practice pattern moves between the ride and other cymbals, match those pieces separately. The image shows how the mute sits on the cymbal.
