Vater Sugar Maple 5B Wood Tip
When to choose it
Choose the Sugar Maple 5B if you want a broad 0.605-inch handle and a wooden tip on a maple shaft. Compare it with Vater’s 0.570-inch maple Los Angeles 5A. Both are 16 inches long, so the 5B changes grip width without adding reach.
If you already use Vater’s hickory 5B Nylon, the published diameter and length stay familiar, but this model changes both shaft and tip material. Decide which changes you want before buying it as a replacement. Use VSM5BW for the maple wood-tip option.
